Game Details
This is an outdoor game where participants play within the food chain, as an herbivore, omnivore, carnivore, or detritivore (decomposer). They must explore their environment to collect the necessary resources (plants, shelter, and water) while avoiding predators & natural disasters.
The exceptional part of this game is that participants are the actual animal (northern bog lemming, deer mouse, etc.) and looking for local plants (cattail, chickweed, etc.). This has participants saying the names and connecting to their place.
It is ideally suited for groups as it allows all types of play - participants can choose different ways of survival just and the actual animals do. Will they use pack tactics, or stealth, or simple speed?

We've been running this game with school camps for the last five years. It is by far the most popular activity. Designed for large groups (though can be played with as few as 12) of up to 100, this game is ideal for schools, camps, scouting, etc.
